5.01. MSISSION OF STATEMENT:

It is designed and dedicated to provide the medico- technical education to the young prospective learner and those who are already working as paramedical worker in any institution without any official training and certification with an opportunity to enhance their academic growth (knowledge and skills) to certificate and diploma levels in order to provide the quality service in Clinics, Nursing Homes and Hospitals. The training will help them to lead a respectable life in society.

5.02. BACKGROUNDS:

Medico-technical services are the back-bone of health services..WAIM initiated these courses in at the time of inception directly and through its affiliated/accredited institutions. WAIM has designed the course as per requirement in India.

5.03. TYPES OF COURSES:

WAIM offer two types of Medico Technical Courses:

(I) Certificate Course: This is basic and short course of one year duration.
(II) Diploma Course: This is longer, most technical and productive course. The duration of the course is two year.

5.04. ELIGIBILITY TO ADMSISSION STATEMENT:

Candidate willing to seek admission to any course under the institute of medico–technical courses must have:

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with science.
• An experience worker of 2 years or more 5 years in any Clinic, Nursing Home or Hospital can complete the diploma in one year.

5.05. DURATION AND RELAXATION IN COURSES:

WAIM offers medico technical courses as Certificate and Diploma courses through various institutions. The duration of course is one and two years respectively. Candidates having two years or more experience in any health institution / healing centre will get certificate in six month and Diploma in one year.

5.06. COURSE CONTENTS:

Each candidate will be separately intimated / guided for the course contents in theory, project and article, practical and viva-voce after Enrolment.

5.07. TYPES OF MEDICO TECHNICAL COURSES:

WAIM is offering following medico technical courses. Other courses will be included on demand after approval.

5.08. IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Besides the above subjects, WAIM has provision to involve the other medico- technical courses on approval academic division.
• WAIM has double certification programs under institute of medico technical course.
• Candidate applying for double certification program has to fill two forms and pay separate fee for each course.
