3.01 MISSION OF STATEMENT It is designed and dedicated to provide the integrated alternative medicine / therapy / healing education to the officially and or traditionally qualified and or trained practitioners of alternative system with an opportunity to enhance their academic growth (knowledge and skills) to certificate, diploma and degree levels in order to provide the quality alternative medicine / therapy / healing services to the sufferers and properly guide the community to lead a long holistic life.
3.02 BACK GROUNS
Integrated alternative medicine/ therapy/healing is in existence and practice in one or the other form since the origin of life. It definitely gives relief to the sufferings but can not be bound in present scientific boundaries as most of the alternative medicine / therapies / healings are based on traditions, cultures, believe and customs. All the therapy/ healing systems fall in one or the other way in three groups i.e.-
i. Physical Therapy / Healing.
ii. Natural Therapy / Healing.
iii. Spiritual Therapy / Healing.
iV. Allied Health Science.
3.03 ELIGIBILITY TO ADMISSION: The candidate seeking admission in the faculty of integrated alternative medicine / therapy / healing must have the basic certificate of passing out the desired therapy/healing/ traditional training under the defined therapist/healer.
3.04 SYSTEMS INVOLVED: WAIM has identified the following commonly practiced systems/ techniques/ methods and placed in following four groups.
Physical Therapy/Healing: It includes – Acupuncture, Acupressure, and Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Osteopathy and Cranio-sacral therapy.
Natural Therapy/Healing: It includes – Naturopathy / Nature Cure, Natural Healing (Food and Nutrition, Magneto therapy, Hydrotherapy, Reflexology), Aroma therapy and Environmental Sciences.
Spiritual Therapy/Healing: It includes - Yoga, Meditations, AUM Therapy, Astrology, Holistic Healing Techniques (Chakral Healing, Auric Healing, Mantral Healing and Cosmic Healing), Musical Healing, Hypnotherapy and Principles of Sai Health Mission.
Allied Health Sciences: It includes-General Human Sciences, Life Sciences, Bio - Technology, Applied Physics, Anthropology, Public Health, Applied Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy or any other subject approved by WAIM.
NOTE: Besides above method, other methods /techniques practiced in any can be incorporated in one of the above group for higher studies after the approval of the academic bodies. The candidates under going higher studies must select at least one system from each group.
3.05 SUBJECTS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION
WAIM offers diploma, degree and doctorate in integrated traditional therapy/healing /Allied Sciences as – Diploma (D.I. Specialty), Degree(M.D. Specialty) and Doctorate (Ph.D. Specialty).The nos. of seat for Indian and foreign candidates in one calendar year are mentioned in the table

3.06 COURSE CURRICULUM
The course curriculum of Integrated Alternative Medicine / therapy / healing has two aspects.
(I) Theoretical Aspects. (II) Practical Aspects.
(I) Theoretical Aspects: The detailed theoretical aspects alternative will be communicated to the candidate after getting enrolled in the particular faculty. All the subject matters will be dealt in following four modules.
Module I: Integrated Holistic Human Body Module II: Integrated Principles of Therapy Module III: Integrated Holistic Diagnosis Module IV: Applied Integrated AlternativeTherapy
(II) Practical Aspects: It covers the following three aspects:
A. Discussion on Patients (Observational Findings) B. Project/Thesis C. Viva-voce
